Hey, I’m Jess!

I’m a licensed mental health counselor working with adults in Massachusetts and New Hampshire — and I’m really glad you’re here.

I know reaching out for support can feel intimidating. You might be used to being the one who has it together, the one everyone else leans on — so asking for help? That’s not exactly second nature. But if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or just tired of holding it all in — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to keep doing this on your own.

My approach to therapy is relational, down-to-earth, and rooted in compassion. I believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships — where you feel seen, heard, and never judged for being human. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a good sense of humor into the space, because sometimes we need to laugh, even when we’re doing deep work.

I see you as the expert on your life. My job is to walk alongside you — to ask the right questions, help you connect the dots, and gently challenge the stories that are keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that are no longer serving you (hello, perfectionism and people-pleasing), so you can start to live in a way that feels more free, empowered, and true to who you really are.

Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always centered around you. My hope is that our work together helps you feel more connected — to yourself, to others, and to the life you actually want to be living.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

My Approach

Healing isn’t about “fixing” you — because you were never broken.

You’ve been doing your best to hold everything together, even when it feels like you’re falling apart inside. Maybe you’ve always been the strong one, the responsible one — the one who overthinks everything, gets it just right, and keeps going no matter what. But lately, it’s starting to catch up with you. You’re tired, anxious, maybe even disconnected from yourself — and wondering how you got here.

A lot of the patterns you’re stuck in didn’t start with you. They often go way back — shaped by early relationships, unspoken expectations, or moments when you had to disconnect from your feelings just to get through. That’s where attachment and developmental trauma therapy comes in. Together, we’ll gently explore those early roots, not to stay stuck in the past — but to help you understand yourself with more compassion and begin to shift the patterns that no longer serve you.

In our work, I show up as a real person — not just a therapist — and I deeply value the relationship we build together. That connection is the foundation for healing. I draw from a mix of approaches to meet you where you are, including EMDR to process painful memories, and somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body and feel more grounded in the present.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or just feeling lost — we’ll work together to help you come home to yourself, at your own pace.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a specialized psychotherapy technique designed to help individuals process and alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR enables the reprocessing of traumatic events, reducing their emotional impact. It is effective in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related conditions.

Somatic practices are holistic therapies that focus on the connection between the mind and body to promote healing and well-being. These techniques involve mindful awareness of bodily sensations and movements to release tension, process emotions, and reduce stress. Common somatic practices include yoga, bodywork, breathwork, and EMDR. By addressing both physical and emotional aspects, somatic practices support overall health and resilience.
